Engineering Manager – Software Development

HOW WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

As Engineering Manager, you will lead and grow our Software Engineering department of 20+ professionals, with planned expansion to 30-40 team members over the next 2-3 years.

You will drive technical strategy and development of scalable solutions, managing the full software lifecycle while ensuring high-quality deliverables that align with business objectives.

VARIED DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and mentor software engineering teams through design, development, and deployment phases

• Establish and maintain coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance procedures

• Drive technical strategy and innovation, particularly in cloud and AI implementations

• Collaborate with Product Managers, QA, Infrastructure, and cross-functional teams to define and execute roadmaps

• Manage engineering timelines, resource allocation, and delivery schedules

• Participate in and guide Agile/Scrum ceremonies across teams

• Implement and maintain metrics and reporting dashboards for stakeholders

• Lead technical design reviews and coding best practices.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in processes and practices

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE?

• 10+ years of software development experience

• 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams of 15+

• Strong background in cloud technologies (Azure) and CI/CD practices

• Experience with multiple programming languages ( PHP)

• Database expertise (including MySQL)

• Proven track record in Agile software development

• Experience implementing AI solutions in software engineering context

• Strong technical leadership and team management capabilities

• Excellence in project management and problem-solving

• Superior communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously

• Strong analytical and debugging capabilities for complex systems
